Workshop - Engaging Effectively with the Senior Appointments Process

We are delighted to be partnering with the Archbishops' Advisers for Appointments and Vocations (AAAV) to deliver a workshop for UKME/GMH Clergy looking to engage with the appointment processes for Dean and Bishop roles, and who are currently on Bishops Leadership Teams or Asst/Archdeacons, Area/Rural Deans, Deans for Women/UKME, or Canons.


The workshop will have a practical focus on:


• Understanding appointment processes

• Researching posts and identifying your gifts and skills

• Writing a good application especially describing examples from your ministry

• Preparing for interview and practising responding to questions


There will be time for individual questions and reflection.

Spaces are limited for this free, full-day, workshop and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. Lunch, tea and coffee will be provided.
